1. VARIATION ON PRODUCT

Q: Can I specify my own artwork or packing requirement?
A: Not for normal 15 Day Shipment.

By individual negotiation we can arrange to have special orders produced to customer specification. This can be done either through king sharp tool depending on how the order is to be consolidated and shipped. Normal production lead time of about 4 weeks will apply.

Q: If I place a special Variation order, will there be a minimum quantity required? Will the price be the same?
A: Yes, minimum quantity will be set at whatever the factory requires to go into production. If the variation is simply a different size carton pack, the minimum will be quite low. If the variation is on the product specification and artwork, min qty will be higher. Every product will vary.

Price will also be determined by individual factors related to that product and the size of the order. It is more likely to be cheaper than more expensive, since we are not "holding" or "warehousing" the stock awaiting customer orders.

Q: Can I have a sticker (such as "Importer Details") attached to each item?
A: Under normal circumstances, "NO". We could not operate efficiently under such an arrangement and we would incur a lot of extra expense. From time to time we may be able to help with a few individual products for regular customers.

Q: Neither English, Spanish, nor French is suitable for my market. Can I specify a different language for packaging??
A: fortunately "YES". but that packaging language design should supply us, we will OEM for you ..

2. SIGHTING PHYSICAL SAMPLES
All products have digital images along with detailed specifications on this web site, but sometimes there is no substitute for actually "feeling" and examining a physical sample.

Q: How can I see physical samples??
A: There are 3 possible ways:

1. Visit our factory in Danyang city . Shuttle services Shanghai are available. You can take what samples you need with you.
   
   
2. Parcel Post. We are most happy to provide requested samples for air mail. samples themselves will be free of charge, we must ask the customer to pay for the postal charge.
   
   
3. Many customers order single cartons of a product in their containers. At an average of only around $15 USD per carton - this is a very cost effective way of not only getting a physical sample, but of having a full carton to test your market.

3. ORDERING MORE THAN MAXIMUM QUANTITY
On our price lists and website we specify a maximum number of cartons per shipment. (The minimum is 1 carton)
Q: What if I want to order more than the maximum number of cartons?
A: The maximums have been put in place to protect the range for all. Orders in excess of maximum must go to back-order, ie the balance will be placed as a specific order to the relevant factory. Lead time will be anywhere between 2 and 8 weeks depending on the product.

Q: If I place a larger order in this way - will there be any discount.
A: Yes, since it is an order which does not have to go into our general inventory there will be a small saving. The size of the discount will depend on a number of factors and must be handled on a case by case basis.

Q: What if I can order an FCL?
A: Any FCL for a product, or group of products from our factory will cut out a lot of cost. We will not have to handle the goods - they can go direct to wharf. Export costs will be lower due to less individual products. We cannot indicate here what type of discount, it depends entirely on the order itself and whereabouts it is manufactured.

Q: If I order multiple containers - does the maximum apply to the total order?
A: If the order is to one port - yes the maximum applies. If you are placing orders for different ports we will treat the orders as separate and apply the maximum individually. For those customers that ship to different ports the UB7DM offers a huge additional benefit.

4. GENERAL DISCOUNTS:
king sharp too'sl export costs for each individual product shipped. The more items in your container - the more it costs us. Where a customer orders less than 50 (20 footer) or 100 (40 footer) different products, a small discount may be possible.

Q: Can I get an exclusive agency in my country?
A: We are currently in agency discussions in several countries where we have built a good relationship with a customer. Under normal circumstances the directors of king sharp tools ,would want some trading history before they agreeing to an exclusive agency.

6. INVOICE CURRENCIES

Q: All quotations are in USD. Can I buy in some other currency?
A: We do not encourage it. You can ask the question if you wish. For a few customers we quote and invoice in Euro.

7. LCL SHIPMENTS: Less than Full Container Load

Q: Can I order less than an FCL?
A: yes, we can help you do that .but that price will be different.

8. FUMIGATION

Q: To import wooden items into my country a fumigation certificate is required. Can you provide this?
A: In countries such as the USA, wooden products must be fumigated before dispatch. This is quite expensive and delays a shipment for a few days. Unfortunately we will have to pass on the cost of fumigation where it is required. There are different types of fumigation treatment. The most common (and cheapest) is Methyl Bromide, which costs around $125USD for a 20 ft container.

You must let us know if fumigation is required in your country and which type. We will also need to know the form in which the Fumigation Certificate is to be provided.

9. PVC PACKAGING

Q: In my country PVC packaging such as PVC blister cards is discouraged. Do king sharp's products have PVC packaging?
A: On a few products - Yes. At this stage it is very difficult to organize alternative packaging in some parts of China. We will be keeping a careful eye on this and looking to eliminate in the future.

10. SOCIAL AUDIT

Q: Has Uncle Bill's conducted an audit on each of the factories it uses to ensure that working conditions are satisfactory?
A: No, but we deal only with factories which are well known to us. We do not deal with intermediaries. Nothing is produced in prison farms or the like.
